I saw someone on ebay selling tickets saying they would be in line at 4 am for the 7 am ticket. Sounds like a lot of waiting in line to me, too! But really fun!
I almost felt like part of the excitement! My SIL had a 7:45 ticket. She said it was extreme chaos. There were several Felicity items there (partyware, mitts and pattens, writing desk, writing set). There were even Kailey dolls left at the time she went in! She said they were down to 10 or so. She couldn't get one because she was using her 1 doll limit on the historical/LE dolls to get me . . . . a new Felicity!!!! How kind of her! I am so excited. It sounds like she had a great time. Lucky for me she was getting the Kaya doll for her daughter. She said there were even Marisol dolls there.
She said there were some outfits but not a lot. She also got Kaya's horses and her teepee (free with the Kaya purchase I think). I wish I could have been there. Although I will say that it sounds like she did a LOT of waiting around in lines. I can't wait to hear from some others who were there.
P.S.: My SIL says the person in front of her in line had a $6,000 order (it was a family checking out together)!!!!

Yes, there is an outlet in OshKosh, but unfortunately they do not take phone orders (to the best of my knowledge). For the most part, as I understand it, many of the items they carry are the same price as in the catalog. The real bargains and deals come with items that are close to retirement; that's when they slash prices on those outfits. And I believe they sometimes have retired items for a short while after they become unavailable throught the catalog/website. I have also heard they will occasionally get in historical trunks and offer those at good prices. Of course, I have not been there myself, so someone else may be able to give you better information. You can also do a search of this board for Oshkosh outlet (or just Oshkosh) as it does come up from time to time.
Wow- it just struck me once again that I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into when I first started perusing the AG catalog with my DDs a year and 1/2 ago!!!!

Hello everyone...I live in Wisconsin so pretty close to the MCM sale and only 2 hours from Oshkosh outlet. I was at both sales. Oshkosh was a disappointment for me.It was my 1st year and didn't buy that much....can't believe that. I guess I am spoiled..after the MCM sales Oshkosh just seemed ....well..kind of boring.As for the sale yesterday...it was awesome!! I was in at 7 and out by 8:30 and I loved every minute. I started going to the sale back when it was actually held in someones driveway...I am really dating myself now! Yes, I am a grandma!! The Oshkosh outlet store is great but no dolls, of course, but sometimes you can find furniture returns. ( Felicity's desk, Kit's table and chairs I have found )They have specials and its worth a visit if you are in the area.They don't do phone orders though. If you love American Girls it's really worth the trip here to find all the goodies.....and Wisconsin is a nice state to visit!!! Thanks for all the good info I get here..I love it.

Were you the one staying in the motorhome? If so, I believe I was right in front of you in line! Did your granddaughter sell my tickets, or am I confusing you with someone else?
AS far as the Oshkosh sale, I would say that this year was the worst one I have been too. Don't let this year's experience detour you from returning. I was very disappointed this year as well, but in the past, have been much more pleased!
